Utopia House – International Empathy Centre will host artists from Ukraine

Utopia House, which is an everyday place of interaction between artists and inhabitants of Nowa Huta, a few days ago turned into a support point for the war-stricken inhabitants of Ukraine. We are collecting essential things, which we are constantly updating. We have taken under our roof people who urgently needed help.

Now, we turn to Ukrainian artists who are looking for shelter in Poland. Our door is open for you!

– In the Utopia House there are rooms which are used on a daily basis by Polish artists and residents from other countries. We would like them to become a home for artists from Ukraine and their loved ones in this difficult time. – says Małgorzata Szydłowska, director of the Utopia House. – We will try to provide them not only with a shelter, but also with projects which will help them express what they are struggling with at the moment. If they are ready to do so, of course.
